BEES UK is a growing Plymouth-based social enterprise with a proven record in helping people to engage with lifelong learning. We enable people to grow their confidence and self-esteem by presenting them with innovative educational environments and experiences.

BEES UK comprises a number of subsidiary activities. These include Egg-Ed, Hook it and Cook it, Tortoise Rescue Centre, and Kula Culture CIC. Each of these contributes to our vision for social mobility and sustainable communities.

BEES UK has a proud record of delivering inspirational results that work. Our mission is to create effective lasting change in education services where other attempts have failed.

BEES UK works to re-engage these people by creating environments that better match their learning styles. Through co-curricular projects such as business enterprise, animal care, fishing and foraging, and aquaponics, young people are empowered and inspired to unlock their creativity. Based in the bucolic grounds of a farm in Plympton, BEES UK works with schools across the city, as well as businesses and families.

We believe that social and emotional well-being should be the foundations we build upon. Our vision is to make this an educational priority.

Recognising needs and implementing support, reduces harmful behaviours. Modelling and developing social and emotional skills in children creates confidence, self-worth and self-belief by default. Working together reduces negative learned perceptions that can be damaging at every level.

Located on farmland at the edge of Plymouth, BEES UK works with schools across the city and local area as well as businesses and families.
